Halberg Games formerly Junior Disability Games

We are sad to announce that this year's Halberg Games hosted by the Halberg Disability Sport Foundation for 8-21 year olds has been postponed due to Covid-19.  The Games are going to be held over 3 days and will now take place at Kings College in Auckland on the 23rd, 24th & 25th of April 2021.

This is a great opportunity for our young people to participate in sport within a fun and supportive environment.  It is a fantastic way to bring everyone around NZ together and not only compete in sports familiar to the athletes' regions but to have the opportunity to try out new sports at the same venue.

Halberg will be providing opportunities within over 20 different sports over the three days which will include Swimming, Athletics, Wheelchair Basketball, Powerchair Football and Archery, just to name a few.

Parafed BOP is really keen to find out if there are any young people with a physical impairment that would be interested in getting involved and being part of our Bay of Plenty Youth Development Programme. We would also like to know who would like to be in the next BOP Halberg Games Team!
