Sailability activities cover a broad spectrum, ranging from recreation, therapeutic and competitive activities, from grass-root entry level through to elite World Championships and Paralympic training.

Paralympic Classification
Sailing is a multi-disability sport where athletes from all disability groups compete together.
The system is based entirely on the functions required to compete in sailing. The Four areas in sailing are:
- Stability
- Hand Functions
- Inability
- Vision
Athletes are allocated a class based on points ranging from 1 (most limited functional ability) to 7 (the highest level of functional ability)

Sailability Tauranga Charitable Trust, a 'not for profit', volunteer-based organisation. We provide sailing opportunities for anyone with any disability
