New Zealand Officials Invited to International Competitions
Boccia New Zealand is excited to announce that three New Zealand officials have been invited to attend the first wave of international events in 2019.
Kerry Jenkinson (Christchurch) will attend the Guangzhou Regional Open in China during March where she will form part of the classification panel for this competition. Paul Coffey (Dunedin) and Teri May Mann (Auckland) will attend the Hong Kong World Open during May as part of the refereeing team and will officiate throughout the competition. This is a significant milestone for Teri May as this will be her first event as a qualified international referee having attained her accreditation at the Dubai World Open during December 2018.
Congratulations to Kerry, Paul and Teri May and we know they will all do a fantastic job representing New Zealand.

High Performance
Boccia New Zealand is excited to announce that Greig Jackson (Palmerston North)  has been allocated a slot at the Hong Kong World Open in May where he will compete in the Individual BC3 competition. Greig will carry plenty of momentum into this event having won his and NZ's first individual medal (bronze) at the Chinese Taipei Regional Open in Taiwan during November 2018. Following a short break over the Christmas period, Greig and his ramp assistant Bruce Bycroft have been training tirelessly in preparation for their first international event of 2019.
We wish Greig all the best for this competition and know he will represent NZ proudly!

If you would like to support Greig and his international activities throughout 2019 you can do so via donation on his Givealittle Page - https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/get-greig-to-boccia-interntional-tournaments-this?fbclid=IwAR0cGimIW7PiraZ-aYHUDNNgkGv_HBz4MicYms-B6z5hVys-lmB4EMkwsnI
